Our close association with Kent Police, the local Councils and the business community gives us the contacts and expertise to identify, deliver and support community safety projects that work, including two award-winning youth clubs, the town centre Safer Shopping and Safer Socialising schemes which are now being rolled out across the country.
The Trust provides financial assistance in the form of grants and loans to groups that are working to improve community safety and reduce crime in Kent. Education is also key to the Trust’s work, and we aim to advance education in all matters relating to crime prevention and community safety including: alcohol, drug or solvent abuse and anti-social behaviour. The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees from Kent’s leading private and public sector organisations.
We are entirely dependent on the generosity of local businesses and public sector bodies for our funding. Without their kind support, and their genuine commitment to the people of Kent, we would not be able to support the many wonderful projects that are delivering change for all the community.
