News: Grants approved at our January 2012 meeting

Grants were approved for the following projects: Safety in Action – Ashford, Youth Programmes at Chalkhill Farm, YMCA in West Kent, and a new Street Pastors Scheme in Whitstable. The Trust also renewed the support for the SOS bus in Medway and the Kent Boxing Development programmes run in conjunction with KCC Sports Team.

The Trust also agree support for counselling programmes that are run by volunteers in Swale and Gravesham

A new BTEC based project run by CVQO and based on the Army Cadet Programme will be supported in three areas of Kent. For details of the CVQO programmes please see www.cvqo.org

Grants totalling about £20,000 were approved.
