About the Kent Peoples Trust
The Kent
People’s Trust is a registered charity that has been established with the
support of Kent Police. It provides financial assistance in the form of grants,
to groups that are working to improve community safety and reduce crime in
Kent. The Trust also provides an opportunity for businesses to become involved
in ventures that are of direct benefit to communities in Kent.
Our Aims
·Prevent crime
and protect people and property from criminal acts.
·Advance education in all matters relating to crime prevention, community
safety, alcohol, drug or solvent abuse or any matter affecting crime and
disorder in the community.
Through the pursuit of these aims, the Trust
hopes to provide local communities with a better quality of life. It also hopes
to provide businesses with an opportunity to become involved with their local
communities.
The Trust acknowledges the generosity of its founder members, without whose
support the Trust would be unable to exist.
