History

The Kent People's Trust was founded in 2000 to assist all parts of the Kent Community to work towards making Kent Safer. Founder Members included many of the local councils, Kent Police, Kent Fire & Rescue as well as some of the major Kent businesses like Saga, Shepherd Neame, Kent Messenger Group, Kent Regional Newspapers, Network Rail (now Railtrack) Brachers LLP, Whitehead Monkton, HR GO Recruitment, Pfizer, Invicta Radio, Stagecoach, Arriva Bus Company, Kent Reliance and CSIS. Many of these organisations are still active in the Trust today.

The Trust is a registered charity and its accounts are published on the Charity Commission website.
